Final Reflections

The Pennsylvania State University AE Senior Thesis project was an excellent opportunity to work with industry professionals to gain a better understanding of the way construction processes and projects are completed. The key aspect to this Thesis was establishing connections and gaining knowledge from the people who know the construction industry best. Throughout this process students were able to get a taste of what work will be like after graduation.

The CPEP online system was a key tool in communicating with the AE faculty members as well as members of the construction industry. It created a simple but effective data base to post project information.

The complete ABET Student Assessment can be seen by clicking here.

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Peter Thiel. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
